I was born and raised in Sanchore, a small town in the Jalore district of Rajasthan. Like most people from my background, my world initially revolved around studies, family expectations, and a simple life in a place far away from the ocean.
At that time, scuba diving was not even something I had seen in real life. It felt like something you only watch in documentaries or travel videos—something meant for people who live near beaches or in big coastal cities.
But life has a strange way of introducing you to things you never planned for.
From Sanchore to a Bigger World
I completed my early education at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Jaswantpura, and later studied at Apex International School, Sanchore. After finishing school, I moved to Jaipur for higher studies and eventually built my career in digital marketing.
Today, I am based in Dubai, working in the field of Digital Marketing and Technical SEO. Moving out of my hometown opened my eyes to opportunities, cultures, and experiences I had never imagined before.
It was in this phase of life that I started exploring adventure sports.
The First Time I Thought About Diving
Scuba diving first caught my attention when I saw underwater videos and documentaries. The idea of breathing underwater, moving freely in the ocean, and exploring a completely different world fascinated me.
Coming from a landlocked region of Rajasthan, it felt almost unreal.
But curiosity slowly turned into intention.
Becoming a Certified Diver
On April 4, 2026, I completed my PADI Open Water Diver Certification at Bermuda Diving Center in Dubai.
This was my first real step into the underwater world. The training taught me:
- How to breathe underwater calmly
- How to use diving equipment safely
- How to control body movement in water
- How to stay aware and responsible underwater
The moment I first descended into open water, everything changed. It was silent, peaceful, and completely different from anything I had experienced before.
Going Deeper: 30 Meters Underwater
After completing my Open Water certification, I wanted to go further.
On May 30, 2026, I completed my PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification in Muscat, Oman.
One of the most memorable parts of this journey was diving to a depth of 30 meters (100 feet).
At that depth, the experience becomes surreal. The surface feels far away, sounds disappear, and you enter a completely different environment. It teaches you calmness, focus, and control.
For someone who grew up far from the sea, this moment felt like a personal milestone.
More Than Just Diving
My interest in adventure didn’t start or end with scuba diving.
I have also experienced skydiving above Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, which gave me a completely different perspective—this time from the sky instead of underwater.
Both experiences are opposite in nature, but they share one powerful lesson:
Growth begins outside your comfort zone.
What This Journey Means to Me
Looking back, I realize this journey is not just about scuba diving or adventure sports.
It is about breaking limits.
Coming from a small town like Sanchore, I never imagined I would one day explore the ocean or jump from the sky. But stepping into new environments changed my mindset completely.
It taught me that your background does not define your boundaries—your mindset does.
Final Thoughts
This is just the beginning of my journey.
I hope to continue exploring, learning, and sharing experiences that inspire others from small towns like mine to think beyond limitations.
If there is one thing I want to say through my story, it is this:
You don’t need perfect conditions to start something new. You just need courage to begin.
